Vehicle Detail
1969 Ford Mach 1 Mustang VIN: 9F02R145548 This Great American Muscle car was built in Dearborn Michigan on January 8th 1969. It was released and sold to Ford Motor Company dealer #23226L in Memphis Tennessee on June 26th 1969. It has the Mustang Sports roof. It is an “R” code car with a 428-4V CJ Ram Air. I was told the motor was original but I was unable to verify through the Mustang Cobra Jet Registry due to the ambiguities of the era. The body has been restored and the paint is Silver Jade, but doesn’t have the hood blacked out. The seats are Black Clarion Knit/Vinyl Mach 1 hi-back bucket seats. It has 3.91 Traction-loc axle ratio and features a manual 4 speed close ratio transmission. It has a 428 CJ Engine – Drag Pack. It also has power front disc brakes. The car is rust free and has no body modifications. All of the manufacturer’s welds are present on this car. It runs very strong but smokes a little. The motor has been rebuilt and has less than 3 hours running time, not even broken in. I put a Pro Comp Racing Cam in on the rebuild. I have all the original motor parts which will be included with the car. It has power steering. The paint is in very good condition. The tires are like new. It needs an oil cooler and to finish the mounting of the shaker. On the body it needs a mirror insert for the passenger side. The winning bidder of this rare car will also receive numerous extra parts. Ie., water pump, carburetor, extra set of motor internals, new decals, original valve covers and too many others to list. The rocker panels, frame rails, floor pans, and trunk pans are all in excellent condition. I have owned the car since 2005 and it has always been corralled and covered in the garage. I have a Marti Report on the vehicle available. I also have a clear title for this vehicle. There are also many other pics of this great American Muscle Car. This rare car will only appreciate in value and has a reasonable reserve. The winning bidder will assume all related shipping costs. A deposit of $2000 immediately and payment will be expected in full within 3 business days after the auction, via wire transfer or certified cashiers check. Good Luck and Happy Bidding on this rare “Pony”.
