1993 (Early) Porsche 928 GTS Exterior Color: Black Interior color: Cashmere/Black /Cashmere Carpet Engine: 5.4L 8 Cylinder Gasoline Fuel Transmission: 5 speed manual This great example of the Porsche 928 GTS. It is a relatively low mileage GTS cars for its age. It defies the years in looks and performs like new. It’s a head turning, show and go car, which performs just as well as many performance vehicles produced in today’s market. This is my 4th 928 and by far my favorite. It will push you back in you seat as you click through the gears. It turns heads all the time. The exhaust is intoxicating. You wil find yourself looking for tunnels and parking decks to hear it n I have done all of the maintenance and modifications to the vehicle since taking ownership. I know these cars having owned an 85, 86 and 86.5 and worked on them for over 10 years. I am the 3rd owner of this GTS. The car was originally purchased new for $88,290, in 1994 from a Porsche dealership in Las Vegas, Nevada by Andre Agassi. The 2nd owner, from Kentucky, purchased the car in 1998 from a dealership in Nebraska with approximately 29,000 miles on it. The second owner had a third party install a supercharger in 2001. The original engine was damaged by being over-pressurized by the supercharger. The 1993 engine was replaced with a 1994 engine with 47,000 miles sourced from 928 International, a highly regarded 928 new and used parts supplier. The second owner had the car re-sprayed. It was disassembled to do the paint job. There is no evidence of any body work. The paint shows well from any angle. I purchased it from him August of 2003 with 74,000 miles on the car. Upon purchase I dropped the car off to 928 Specialists in North Carolina and instructed Dave Roberts to remove the supercharger and all related accessories and return the engine to stock and not spare any expense. The car has been trouble free ever since. It has only required oil and fluid changes during my ownership. I recently replaced the timing belt, performed a cooling system flush, oil/filter change, cam degree calibration, replaced the clutch slave and flushed the brake fluid. I have driven it for 20,000 carefree miles in nearly 9 years of ownership. The new owner can expect the same carefree ownership.
