Vehicle Detail

1977 Plymouth Voyager Van. 122,118 original miles. My Dad bought this van new in 1977 and always maintained it well. It was always garaged. He used synthetic oil from day one. It was used as his daily driver for the first several years then just kept in the garage to be used for the occasional camping trip or just as a second vehicle. This full size van is in phenomenal shape for a 35 year old van. It has the Chrysler 318 CI engine which was known for its reliability and longevity. It also had Ziebart rust protection applied when new. Not just undercoated but the complete package. That explains why there is very little rust. As you can see from the photos he carpeted the sides and paneled the ceiling right after he got it. He was in the process of repairing the small rust areas but at 87 years old did not complete the task. It does not leak any fluids (Dad would not have stood for any leaks on his garage floorJ) and the engine fires up and runs great. I drove it about an hour from his house to mine and it ran down the highway at 70 mph with no problems. The brakes are good and it stops with no pulling or other issues. I would say it needs a set of shocks and a new set of tires and could be driven anywhere. An extra set of wheels come with the van. Dad always had snow tires mounted for the rare occasions when he took the van in the winter. The winning bid should put a non-refundable $200 deposit down via PayPal with the balance due when you pick the vehicle up. A cashiers check or cash will work. Thanks for your interest. PS: I went back to the folks and found some Mopar boxes. Lots of different parts, too numerous to list them all but includes a carb kit, ignition coil, relay, electronic control unit (TP-50), t-stat, carb choke t-stat. A number of other items. They all go with the van. Please call or email if you have questions. Thanks
