1968 TORINO GT COBRA CLONE. The cars vin number shows it to be a factory 390 car but it has been changed over to a 428 cj with a c6 transmission. The car has factory air but does need a tension pully and belt, it also has power steering,power breaks with front disk breaks,new duel exhaust with flowmasters, traction bars, newer paint that showes very well but does have a few minor blemishes, the interior is factory light blue with no tares and a good headliner. the car also has a tasca ford dealer emblem on the back and i tried to research it to find out if it was truely a tasca car but had no luck. my research did find that in the late 60's tasca was well known for worhing with ford by putting 428 cj's into mustangs,torinos and fairlanes. The car runs very good and drives good. All the chrome is in great shape and the body is very sloid. I also went over the car with a magnet and it stuck everywhere. it has good glass and all the lights work. When i researched the car about the 428's i also found out that the 390 cars had a c6 trans but they came with a alumimun tall shaft so i checked this car and it has a cast tall shaft just like all 428's came with. as for what could be fixed on the car the carprt could be replaced and it has the orginal fomoco carb on it i think a good holley would work much better. the passenger side door does have a little rust on the bottom of the door. that is about all i can think to describe right now but if you have any questions feel free to call me and i will answer any questions you have thanks Greg my number is 423 345 4037 if no one is home leave a message and i will return your call thanks. PS JUST LOWERED THE RESERVE PRICE SOME COULD NOT LOWER MUCH I HAVE TO MAKE ALITTLE ON THE CAR. Also forgot to mention the rearend is a tractionlock 9" with a 3.91 ratio.
