Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible original California car, It came form California and I have a color copy of the California title that goes with it. It is a show car and have only driven it 1744 miles mostly to shows. Has about 3400 miles on professenaly rebuilt engine I have that paper work and much more paper work that comes with car. The rebuild sheet shows a 390 engine with an Edelbrock 600 CFM carb. and intake, and a Elgin performance Camshaft. The cam makes the car idles a little rough but never stalls.This is about the heaviest convertible Ford ever built, but when you push on the gas it goes. Yet the car outside and inside ( including the engine) looks stock and have many trophies in stock classes to prove it. The car was restored between 2001 and 2002 I bough it 2003. I also have an appraisal from June 2002 showing a value of 14,400.00. The appraisal shows some cleaning and engine detailing issues which I have addressed. This is a ten year old restoration and the paint has a few very small imperfections that are so small I would have to point then out to you.
