I am selling my rare 1972 Porsche 914 Fuel injected. The car was garage keept in the past 10 years ago at California. After that,I bought the car and shipped all the way to Florida. I didnt touch it for almost 18 months because I was busy with my school. Then I started to work on it. This 914 is rust free. It had a small spot of rust on the trunk floor panel, and I already changed that panel with a new one from AutoAtlanta and I poweder coated the trunk. The car Looks and drives like new, and every thing working on it. You are welcome to take it for a ride and feel it!! The car has been sanded all the way to the metal, and re painted with 1972 Porsche 914 Irish Green color paint. I got that code color from AutoAtlanta. It has the 2.0 engine which is the original engine. That what I did for this car: · 4 new tires (installed recently) less than a 100 miles on it since replaced them. · New wind shield ( it had a crack when I bought the car and I replaced) · New trunk floor panel. · New 2 front lens – I have the old lens but I like the European lens color. · New fuel pump – replaced because the car was kept almost 11 years in the carage and the fuel pump was working sometimes and sometimes clogged. · Rear brake caliber. · Throttle pedal. · New stereo. · Porsche hood emblem. · Battery. · Spark plugs & wires + Fuel lines + Fuel filter + Gear pushing( its shifting very smooth now) + 2 emergency brake cable (left&right) + engine oil have been changed recently · Irish green Paint. · Rubbers: Hood + Hood edges + Doors + door windows + Targa top + Front & Rear lens + Rear window rubber + trunk rubber. The car had an accident in the left rear panel, at the corner that happend 11 years ago when the original owner had the car, and since that time he parked the car inside his garage because he didnt want to spend any money on it, and he was treating this car as one of his kids. I bought a new rear panel from AutoAtlanta, and it had installed professionally, and you can see the new rear panel in pic number 3 while the car was in the primer paint. The car dirves like new and looks like the pics, very clean and attractive. On May-07-12 at 15:27:44 PDT, seller added the following information: For the guys who asking about the engine. I know that 72 was coming with 1.7. But when I bought this car from the original owner he told me that engine is 2.0 and its the original engine for this car " matching numbers ". I went to the mechanic who I deal with, and he told the engine seems 2.0. This mecanic is working only on the european cars since 25 years ago. I drove it last week on saturday to Lakeland Florida for the Topgun radio control planes event. Its was almost 4 hours and 30 min driving for all the trip back and forth without any problems.
