Although this car has 217000 plus miles, I'd put it up against any other 1973 450SL over 120000 miles for condition and looks. I bought the car two years ago and have sorted out many issues it had at the time. IT HAS: OVER $6,000.00 in repairs in two years. New camshafts --both sides. Valve seals, rocker arms adjusted, freed up and/or replaced Re-man front brake calipers, and new pads. New voltage regulator New Vacuum regulator for right Passenger door. New ignition Wires. Coolant Temp Gauge Pod. New wires, rotors, fuel injectors,ignition coil Reman ECU from Adsit--$500. Replaced left front floor pan. New white-wall tires. New black center console from Adsit--$595.00 You will probably be hard pressed to find a car this age with this much new expenditures for repairs and improvements It has some small leaks of trans fluid--customary for this age.
