This is as close to a brand new 1977 Ford Thunderbird as you are likely to ever see. It is essentially a one owner vehicle from new, but was left as part of an estate to a relative, who not knowing quite what to do with it sold it to my friend who already had a 77 Thunderbird. The car has always been garaged and has perfect original paint and the original ties and spare. The interior is also like new, with no fading or damage of any kind. For some reason the deep red color of the interior does not come out well in the pictures, so they do not do it justice. Looking around this vehicle is really like stepping back in time to a Ford Showroom in 1977. The body is straight, corrosion free, the only blemish I could see on the whole vehicle was a light colored mark on the trunk carpet (see photo) where something must have sat at sometime. The gas tank had some internal corrosion from siting for some time, and this was recently replaced with a new one along with the fuel pump. The vehicle comes with the handbook, a letter and voucher from Ford about a recall and as a really nice touch even the original Temporary Permit issued in UT when it left the dealership on August 26th 1977. The vehicle now runs and rides beautifully, it recently passed UT State Emissions and Safety, but please bare in mind this is a 35 year old vehicle and while it all looks like new and is running nicely, the owner is not in a position to guarantee the vehicle beyond the point of sale. A deposit of $500 is required within 24 hours of the close of the auction, the balance is due within 7 days. The buyer is to arrange shipping, but we will be happy to work this end with your shipper to get it loaded etc.
