Since the owner lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan he had the sunroof sealed and a headliner fabricated to cover the opening - making in effect, a hardtop coupe. The top was painted to finish the conversion. This was all done some years ago and areas of the work outside are beginning to show. Nothing major, but want to point it out. The car has its original interior and all components appear to be present. Body is straight, solid and appears rust-free. Please see photos. The car was donated to the CCCA Museum has not been regularly used in three years while stored inside. It was recently started and runs well with no unusual noises. It would be a good idea to have a Porsche specialist perform a full service on the vehicle before driving any distance. Your inspection is invited before the close of the auction. This 911S was donated to the Classic Car Club Museum. While not a Full Classic® car, it is being offered for sale here with proceeds to benefit the museum (a 501c3 non-profit organization) and their ongoing projects to preserve the history of automobiles of the Classic Car era (1925-1948.)
