up for bids is my 1976. Ford F100 2 wheel drive truck, V8 390 big block, 4bbl edlebrock carb, MSD iginition box.. with updated H.E.I distributor and an automatic tranny, the truck starts right up everytime and does not skip a beat, it runs great and shifts smothly through all the gears, I was told the motor was rebuilt at some point and the heads were not stock, but i dont have documentation.. because i did not do it myself, it drives down the road great.. with the exception of some clunking over bumps, I have checked out the front end and everything seems to be in good shape with minimal play in the king pins, ... the drivers side radiator support mount is bad due to rot on the radiator support.. which is why it bangs over bumps I have checked around and L.M.C truck has the replacemnt rad support for around $130 which is an easy bolt on replacement, which is why one corner of the header panel sits lower than the other side, the pictures look like the bumper is crooked but infact the broken rad support mount making the corner sag, the drivers floor pan will need replaceing at some point it has a rot hole on the left side near the floor mounted high beam switch, its just a hole and could probably patched ... I have been driving it like that since ive owned it, it's not a huge hole, The truck was repainted at some point and looks great it has some blemishes in the paint here and there but still shines up nicely, with the exception of the paint chipping on the wiper cowl, I was told by a bodyman the the cowl is galvanized and wasnt prepped properly, however the rest of the paint on the truck is fine, and infact shines better in person than the pictures look, it was rather cloudy today when i took the pictures, the odo reads about 23k miles or so i assume its 123k but cannot besure because its a 76 it doesnt have the extra digit in the cluster like newer cars do, the tires on the truck are brand new and have less than 500 miles on them and it has newer style ford wheels that are in great shape, it has dual exhaust with a flowmaster muffler and has a great rumble to it, it has aftermarket gauges that work fine except the volts gauge which i will attempt to fix before the truck sells, the windshield has a crack in it. and the tailgate gets stuck, will a little tlc this truck would be a great cruise night truck although it runs perfect and ive tried to describe it as much as best as i can, i cant see everything sand its a 76 not a 2006 please expect rust underneath .. it's not a brand new truck however it runs perfect and is a nice truck to drive around while you work on it PLEASE NOTE!!
