Hi, and thankyou for taking the time to consider this little geo metro as a car you may want to purchase.It is a 4 cylinder automatic with lots of zip.Gas mileage is good,somewhere between 32-38 depending on how you run it,like most anyother car.Some people claim to get in the 40s with a 4 cylinder automatic metro,but I never did.I have owned many metros over the years,my son and daughter both started driving with metros.I love them,and will always have one.I buy them needing some work ..fix them resell them.Let me tell you what I did to this one.A-arm support on passenger side was completely removed and one in excelent shape was put in it's place.Drivers side was solid with the exception of a small hole on top that I mig welder a patch over,and shot it full of grease to keep it from deteriorating in the future.I redid the rockers on both sides full length,and put 4 coats of anti chip coat paint over them.There was a small rust over both rear fenders I fixed with fiber fill and painted.Fixed brake line.Fresh oil change and filter.New seals in output shaft on transmission while I had the axles out.Brakes pads in front look new.Transmission shifts great.Motor runs strong.Exhaust is air tight all the way front to rear.Tires all match with 30% left.All lights work.Windows go up and down with ease.Does have a cd player.Head liner is NOT saging like some.Interior is nice with a small hole in drivers seat. Carpet not bad.
