2000 Honda Civic SI shown here in 100% stock condition and with 100% original factory paint. One of 5000 units produced in Flamenco Black Pearl for the year 2000. This SI has always been adult owned, driven and family owned since day one! Absolutely NO paintwork, bodywork or rust. All VIN tags are in place, no aftermarket body parts or anything of the sort. This SI has a few dings and it's share of paint chips and nicks on the front end, but keep in mind this is a twelve-year-old daily driver. Spotless CARFAX in hand. This SI has been well maintained and propery serviced with HONDA parts since day one. The only thing missing is the OEM front bumper lip spoiler. It was removed a few years ago due to being cracked. The OEM lip spoilers are still available through Honda and come painted to match and ready to install. I still have all of the mounting hardware required for installation. The interior has little to no wear, with the exception of the original cloth floor mats and the leather shift knob. The steering wheel leather is perfect. The cloth seats are not damaged, stained, torn or worn. All of the power accessories work properly. The A/C blows cold, cruise control works properly, power windows and locks work properly. The passenger side power window raises slowly which is typical on these Civics. The driver's side is fine. Most likely the window track needs to be lubricated again. I did it a number of years ago and it solved the problem. This SI consistently achieves 30+ MPG. Premium gasoline used since day one. The following items have been replaced within the past few months: -NEW brake pads and rotors both front and rear along with a fresh brake fluid flush. -NEW thermostat and a fresh coolant flush. -NEW fuel filter. -NEW Kuhmo Ecsta 4X high performance all-season tires. -Mobil 1 synthetic oil used for most of the car's life. Fresh Mobil 1 synthetic oil change less than 1K miles ago. -Timing belt/water pump package was completed around 100K miles. The following lines contain some of the stats and specs of the 1999 and 2000 Civic SI. Both years are identical with the exception of the 2000 model year having child safety seat anchors on the rear deck. Its 1999 model revolutionised the Compact Performance car market with its excellent value as well as performance, offering 160 horsepower and 111 foot-pounds of torque in a car that weighed roughly 2600 lb. The car was discontinued after 2000. The 1999-2000 Honda Civic SI used the B16A2 engine. However, the 99-00 Civic SI did not have this feature. Which saved weight, and was a good way for the driver to learn how to properly brake under different situations. This was the last generation of Civic to feature all Double-wishbone suspension that gave it improved handling characteristics before the line went to the cheaper MacPherson struts.
