2003 Saab 9-3 SE Convertible - 5 Speed Tranny - 115,594 Miles Clean CarFax report shows 2 owners and no accidents. Last recorded mileage was 112,839 on 9/19/11. Brand new clutch system - 1 week old! Strong motor, tranny and drive axles. No noises, leaks, smoking or misfire. Passes safety inspection. Excellent tires and brakes. Body is clean - no rust or dents. One or two scratches and a dimple too small to picture, and very insignificant. It is missing the hood ornament. Interior is very nice. Car would use a wash, wax and vacuuming. Convertible top is in excellent shape and goes up and down no problems. AC works. Radio works but the digital readout is illegible. The "Check Engine" light is on. My mechanic does not "speak" Saab and cannot figure out why. Since the speedometer and odometer do not function, it may be due to a "speed sensor" code. At one point we cleared the "Check Engine" light along with the "Traction Control" light. Both lights came back on within 50 feet of driving, but the speedometer needle did move before lights illuminated. This vehicle drives nice - in fact, bid with confidence and drive it home! This car is going to the highest bidder. No Reserve! No Buy It Now!! Please don't ask! Because the "Check Engine" light is on, this car will not pass NY State's strict inspection, and so ... New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy. If the vehicle is left after 15 days your deposit becomes non-refundable and I will relist the vehicle. All vehicles that run and drive are driven at least 10 to 20 miles and usually 30 to 40 miles. I try to describe these vehicles to the best of my 35 years of experience. Our familiarity with these autos is limited to the miles we drive them. Please be aware of this when bidding.
