Thanks for looking. This is a real rare car. I am selling this 1969 Mercury Cyclone CJ. It is an original car with the Marti Report. It does not have the original 428CJ in the car now, it has a late model 302 that runs good. The car is decent. The body is extremely solid as it is a southern car from mississippi and obviously by the Marti report Atlanta born. I dont see any signs of bondo or major body work on the car. The interior is fairly nice. front seat has been recovered, rear seat is original and nice. Door panels have been redone but not to original specs. The headliner is new, however the headliner was not glued to the front pillars very well and has come loose. The glass on the car is not cracked but has scratches and will need to be replaced if you are going to restore to perfect. The paint is an amature job. It has nice shine but some orange peel is noticable. The underside of the car is very sokid with little to no rust and only Mississippi Mud can be seen. The inner rockers are extremely nice and original. The frame solid. The engine starts and runs and the car drives. The brakes will need attention. The left front caliper is not functioning properly. The car does stop. I just would not drive it on the road to far as it is not safe for road use due to the brakes. I do not have the origanl 428CJ. Wish I did. This would make a great restoration project and these cars are going up in value! Email me with any questions.
