Barn Find. This vehicle sat in a warehouse for over 15 years. I bought it from the son of the original owner and have all the original paperwork including the original Dealer Car Order. This is a Classic Deuce and a Quarter. Factory cruise control, power top, power seats and windows. Powered by a 401ci Powerhouse V8. We had the engine running 2 weeks ago but there appears to be something wrong with the #7 piston. Here is a video of it running. http://youtu.be/dvJYs5zilf8 I had the carb rebuilt and also replaced the fuel pump. Also installed all new spark plugs and changed the oil and filter. Body over all in very good shape. Some rust bubbles but overall a very straight body. This appears to be in decent shape for its age but it has some flaws. The bottom has a fair amount of surface rust. There is one spot on the rear passenger floor board where it has rusted through. This was apparently from a leaky top before it was parked many years ago. The top and frame are shot and will need to be replaced. These tops are very easy to find on Ebay. Most of the chrome is there and also the original hub caps. The car was painted over 15 years ago then parked. It's not bad from 10 feet away. The interior is in decent shape considering the age. Only a couple of small tears. The chrome has some pitting. The car will need two tires and possibly a couple of rims. Call Tom at 757-236-0659.
