This 1960 Triumph TR3 has just undergone a 10 year full body off, nut and bolt restoration ending in 2009. The vehicle was purchased in 1998 from the original owners. It had always been well taken care of, and was rust free; still sporting her original paint and interior. The preservation class wasn’t for the current owners, so they sent the car off for a full body-off restoration: completed in 2009. After a 10 year, $80,000 restoration; today we are happy to offer this perfect 1960 Triumph TR3 in amazing show winning condition. During the restoration, the body was completely disassembled. The topside was painted in a 3 stage Sikkens original color paint. The frame, fender wells, and underside were all painted in white lacquer. This TR3 came from the factory with a white frame, so during the restoration it was painted white. The body is perfectly straight, and shows absolutely no signs of rust anywhere. All of the panels fit very nicely and the doors open and close with ease. The interior was redone in the correct color red leather, which truly complements the white exterior. The interior is in mint condition and shows as if it has never been sat in. The top was also replaced and in perfect condition. From the top, to the interior, to the paint on the body and frame; everything was redone just as it came from the factory. The engine has been fully overhauled and fires up on the first crank each and every time. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears and the overdrive works just as it should. The mileage on the odometer, 43,237 is in fact the original mileage on the vehicle. This is an amazing opportunity to own a great 1960 Triumph TR3 that will win trophies at any show.
