PLEASE GET QUOTES BEFORE YOU BIDTRUE 3 DAY NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!RARE VINTAGE BEAUTY! 1967 FORD ECONOLINE FALCON 18" EXTENDED SUPER CLUB WAGON 68k Original Miles!! Unrestored time capsule SELLING WITH NO RESERVE!!! Recently aquired from an elderly gentleman who purchased this Van new from Wyman Ford in Maplewood, NJ on July 18, 1967. In 1968 He drove it out here to the Seattle, WA area where it has spent it's whole life. According to maintenance records, in June of 1971 the van had 29k miles. He used this as his primary driver until the mid 1970s when he became quite successful and began driving Jaguars. The van went into the garage and was used on rare occasion. I chose to not detail or restore components of the van so the next owner could decide how to proceed. Cosmetically, this is how I found it. Very clean and original with great patina! Original 240 (150hp) 6 cylinder, C4 auto trans, 9" 3.00 limited slip posi rear end (all correct tags in place). The original C4 was recently rebuilt and operates perfectly. The original Motorcraft (Holley) carburator was just rebuilt with fuel hoses and filter replaced. Cooling system was just upgraded with a high quality Champion aluminum radiator. She runs great! Brakes are manual drum and work very well including the emergency brake system. Steering is manual and works great with very little play. I just had new Hankook 195/75/14 white wall tires installed. The suspension feels solid going down the road. This is a great driver as is. From what I can tell the body is all original and very solid. The only serious rust seems to be a small area where the exhaust pipe exits the lower side in the right rear (see pic). This would be an easy repair. There are some typical dings from use but nothing major. The optional slide-out step works perfect and is in great shape. All the trim is in excellent condition. All the glass is in amazing condition and all has the original Carlite logo!! Even the windshield is original with no crack or chips and the Carlite logo with an awesome 1968 Parking permit from NJ. All the pop-out windows and wing windows work well. The interior is unbelieveable! I HAVE NEVER SEEN AN ORIGINAL INTERIOR THIS NICE IN A '67 ANYTHING! Interior dome lights work, 2 speed wipers work, horn works great, original cigar lighter has never been used, heat system works and is very clean, original AM radio and speaker sounds great! Choke works properly, dash pad and padded glove box door are excellent (only a small crack in the far right side defrost area), original vinyl floor is very nice, original back bench was turned sideways but could easily be returned to original, upholstery is amazing! A couple of the headliner panels are a bit wavey but aren't causing a problem, spare tire system is complete and very clean. Miles may vary slightly since I drive it occasionally. INCLUDES OWNERS MANUAL WITH ORIGINAL OWNERS NAME TYPED INSIDE AND DEALER FOLDER FROM 1967 I have described the van to the best of my ability. I will be glad to answer any questions and will post for others to read. PLEASE GET SHIPPING QUOTES FIRST. $500 PAYPAL DEPOSIT WITHIN 24 HOURS. PAYMENT IN FULL REQUIRED WITHIN 5 DAYS. FEEL FREE TO CALL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS 360-440-5301. SELLING AS IS - WHERE IS WITH NO IMPLIED WARRANTY. NO INTERNATIONAL BIDS WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL. On Apr-11-12 at 17:39:38 PDT, seller added the following information: Some questions have been raised about whether the underside has been undercoated. After putting the van on a lift for further inspection, it appears there is some undercoating protection under the van. It appears to be very old (possibly added by the dealer). There has been no undercoating added to decieve anyone or to hide any corrosion. The floors and frame rails are original and very solid. The only evidence of serious rust is a small area at the right rear by the exhaust tip (see last pic). Suspension parts have typical surface rust. There is no evidence of any prior metal damage or collisions. This is a solid van! I added a couple underside pics. All original gauges operate perfect. Thanks for all the questions! On Apr-21-12 at 16:19:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Disregard the last revision regarding the model. I just received great info from a fellow ebayer- FYISomeone gave you bad info on the official model name. The E125 on the door tag indicates "Falcon Custom Club Wagon, Extended (H.D.)"The H.D. means thicker frame, stiffer springs than the regular models . "U" color is Lunar Green. The van was built in July 1967. -THANK YOU emilbarnabas !! Also, Many have asked if this van would be able to drive a long distance. I have no reason to believe it would not go across country just fine. Good oil pressure, does not overheat, drives straight, brakes don't pull or leak down, tires are new, all lights and signals work, heater system works, horn, radio and wipers all work. I have not made a road trip in the van but I have had it on highway cruises at 70 and it handles fine.
