2003 BMW X5 4.6iS Silver/Black Excellent NAV XM BLUETOOTH Current Owner information: This is my personal X5. It is without question, in excellent condition on the interior, exterior, and mechanically. I am a 53 year old professional jet pilot and 2 time aviation world record holder. I have owned many BMWs, Porsches, and Mercedes. I am extremely meticulous and demanding regarding the condition and care of my vehicles. I purchased the X5 in December of 2010 from a BMW dealership in St. Louis, Missouri. It was a 2 owner car at that time. The X5 4.6iS with 330 horsepower is exceptionally powerful. The sport suspension gives a very positive performance ride. The 4.6iS Sport is for the driver that wants an SUV that has the ride and performance of a Porsche 911. I would know, I have owned several 911s and 930 Turbos over the years. Fuel milage is 20 on the highway and 16 in town if you drive reasonably. It is a very powerful and responsive sports SUV. This is a privately owned X5 in exceptional condition with all required services completed. This is a loved X5, not just another dealer unit. Previous Ownership: According to the CarFax and warranty documents I received from BMW, the X5 was originally sold in the Los Angeles area (Shelly BMW, Buena Park, California). The car remained in California from 2003 to 2008 with 70,000 miles. An extended warranty was purchased at 45,000 miles. It was purchased by the second owner in 4/2008 and registered with 71,000 miles. I purchased the X5 in 12/2010. I am the third owner and purchased it with 97,000 miles. I have been traveling the US and current miles are 120,350 approx. I have been making many highway road trips. Options & Special Equipment: Sport Package 4.6 32 Valve 330HP V8 Sport Tech 4 Wheel High Performance Vent Disc Brake System $3500 Harmon Kardon Premium Sound 12 Speaker Package with XM & Bluetooth Package Factory Navigation System that is DVD based with a 2011 update disc installed. This software includes a speed/traffic camera warning system. Sport Leather Seats, front and rear heated & full power seats, adjustable lumbar support, thigh supports Tinted Windows / Xenon headlights / Power sunroof / Keyless entry / Fog lights / Steptronic Sport Automatic Transmission Dual Zone Climate Control / Front and Rear Park Distance Warning System / Tow Package with receiver hitch / Rear Window Privacy Blinds Full Front and Rear Airbag System with BMW Head Protection System Rain Sensing Wiper System / Multi Function Trip Computer / Heated Mirrors with auto dimming system / Automatic Headlights with Washers ABS Braking System / Hill Decent Control / Dynamic Stability Control System Exterior: The exterior is Titanium Silver. It is all original paint and in excellent condition with no door dings or imperfection of any significance. The car is virtully like with new with only the most minor signs of use. Interior: The Black Leather interior is like new. The leather is all soft and supple. The driver seat is in excellent condition. The front passenger seat rear seat are excellent. I added new Coco mats front and rear that are black with silver specs. They are tough, hide any dirt, and look very nice. Headliner is like new. I just had a worn door seal replaced on the driver front door with a factory new seal. Current Maintenance Status: When I bought the X5 I immediately started my aviation style total vehicle service audit. I performed any and all service items I thought were needed, recommended or due. The following service was performed by BMW expert shop and all receipts and paperwork are included in a 3 ring service binder included with the X5: Engine Oil and Filter change / Replaced power steering reservoir with filter and flushed fluid and replaced fluid Full Tranmission flush with special power flush system that fully flushed the entire transmission and torque converter, filter and pan seal replacement as well as all new pan bolts and and drain plugs. Changed oil in rear differential & transfer case with new correct oil. Replaced Entire Engine Cooling System including new radiator, all hoses, fan blade, fan clutch, fan switch, water pump pulley, Vanos seals, belts, transmission cooler thermostat, engine coolant thermostat. Inspection determined water pump was previously replaced. Had Tires rotated front to rear 2/2012 Replaced driver door lock with new factory replacement lock 6/2011 Replaced right front CV boot with new boot kit. CV joint removed, cleaned, and re-greased. This is an exceptional X5 4.6iS for the discriminating buyer. There are many X5s to choose from. You will find this one in particularly excellent condition with all service up to date with great service records. I am a pilot and live both in Sausalito, north San Francisco, and in Oklahoma City.
