Well I'm sure no expert on Volvos, but a friend of mine has owned this P 1800s for many years. This is what I call a "Barn find". It's been stored and sitting idle, for about 10 years, or so. He has lost the title, and dose not have the time to replace it, so I can only give you a bill of sale. This car was raced at Steamboat Springs in Colorado in the early ninety's. First I will list the minuses as I see them... This car is dirty and just how I got it. It will need some restoration, as it has been in storage for a long time. Although it has some rust it's not a real rusty car compared to most Volvos its age. (better than average?). The car is not curently, a running car. This car won't win any beauty contests and needs lots of cleaning and detailing as well as some restoration. Now I will list the plusses. This car has a new B-20 "rally engine" It has a big cam, racing exhaust, etc. The tires have zero miles on them, and look brand new. It comes with a brand new $400.00 windshield.( still in the box). I have loads of new, and used parts, that come with it. (see pic's). I also have lots of books,manuals,reciepts etc. Someone put quite a bit of time and money into this car, and had big plans for it, but could not find the time to complete it. My opening bid is $1,850.00 with no reserve. This car is over 45 years old and I am selling it -as is. I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best tham be dissapointed in anyway. This would make a neat vintage racer, or perhaps a neat daily driver. I can't imagine finding a neater or more complete P-1800 like this for the price. Please rember It has no title. Term of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can. A $100.00 non-refundable deposit through Pay Pal is required within 48 hours of auction's end. PayPal is acceptable for the deposit only. The balance is due via bank/certified check, or cash in person within 7 days of the auctions end.
