Vehicle Detail
Worth a LOT more. This truck is 48 years old and needs cosmetic repairs mainly. No seat belts needed as long as origional seat remains. It had a AM/mono radio origionally. It is easy to work on with a standard craftsman set. All of the work has been done within the last 10,000 miles. $1,699.00 FIRM. New or rebuilt parts include and are not limited to... Tires, rims, breaks, bearings, leaf springs & shackels & bushings, king pins, ball joints, tie rods, drive line, water pump, radiator, generator, starter & starter drive, fuel pump, carburator (origional "oil splash" rebuilt), engine, transmission, clutch pads & throwout bearings & pressure plate , "Z" linkage and bushings, starter relay, on & on & on... Purchased the truck in Reno in the 80's where they do not use salt for anti- freeze on the roadways. Custom Cab, Camper Special (one ton springs). At a cost of $2,049.45 I had origional 292 V-8 (rebuilt @ 90k by American Eng. in SLC). At a cost of $784.58 I had the clutch and the "4 on the floor" transmission rebuilt (@ 92k by Aamco Trans. in SLC). Origional oil splash carburator (rebuilt), all still in tact. While rebuilding suspention, (king pins, ball joints, tie rods, shocks, bearings, leaf springs and shackel bushings) I put under the rear, one ton leaf spring stacks, and noticed it has the same front suspention design as the Ford 450 Super Duty's (single solid front "I" beam). Mechanically sound. Everything replaced or re-built from the radiator to the rear end. 98,000 miles is accurate. Other items that could be included are a tow bar, CB (23 channel "Pinto" from J.C.Penny and a 8' "whip" antenna), Dip stick heater, extra gauges although all of the origional gauges work excellent, a large file of "life time" warrentied parts totaling thousands of dollars, etc. Don't pass this one up. You can call after 2 pm, monday through frday or any time on the weekend. Todd @ (801)865-8676 I am in Clinton (near Roy) Utah. (west of Hill A.F.B.) Ad also running on ksl.com
