Vehicle Detail

A nice Model A I'm listing for a friend. All information is believed to be correct, some items whether they be good or bad may be missed. With any purchase such as this one, I always recommend that any one serious come look at the vehicle before bidding. If you can't, then get athird party. When you bid you are agreeing to buy. By winning the auction, it is not the time to come inspect the vehicle. I have a 100% pos feedback and wish to keep it that way. Again, there is nothing hidden here, but something could be missed. It is thought to have been built sometime in the 70's, but that is only a guess. I know for a fact it was built before Late 80"s because it was used in my brothers wedding. Any info I receive, I will post as time goes on. It is a 1930 with a Ford 289 or 302, not sure which, c4 automatis and an 8 in rear The last time the car was registered was 2004.It is unknown how many times or if it was run in those years. We had to do a few things to get it running such as plugs and wires, points,Fresh gas was put in also. It started out a little rough but seems to be smoothing out a bit now. All rubber components should be carefully checked since it has been sitting. The battery is poor but we have been able to use it, we just have to keep charging it. It has a gas tank mounted behind the rear and is filled through the neck of the spare tire carrier. It does move but being that it is not registered we are not road testing it. Tires; The right front was replaced with something close to the left. The other three tires should be replaced. They are 14 inch on front and 15's on back. The wheels are chrome with inserts to look like wire wheels. They look like they will clean up nice. Brake condition is unknown, all wheels should be pulled before driving. The paint is fair to good. There are some scratches, chips, checking, and a couple dings. The body is believed to be all original from this car. Most of the chrome should polish up with the exception of the windshield frame which has rust on the lower left corner. That appears to be the only bad rust on the car. It looks like the right front cowl may have been touched up sometime in the past. It looks to be a lighter shade. The car is actually 2 tone with the fenders being darker. This is a driver that you can enjoy without worrying about a 10 thousand dollar paint job being scratched. The interior is nice. It has some carpet wrinkles and an arm rest loose in the back. It has tilt wheel. The front end is believed to be mustang 2 rack and pinion. Any questions please ask, I will do my best to get an answer. Obviously car is being sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. Local pick up, if you need it shipped it is up to you to make all arrangements and payments. We can be here to assist in loading. The car should be trailered until buyer can thoroughly inspect for safety reasons. 200 dollar deposit only through paypal. All other transactions be made with cash between you and the owner or what ever the owner requires. Deposit within 24 hours of auction end by paypal. We reserve the right to end auction at any time for any reason.
