Up for auction is a 1970 International Scout 800A, a true classic four wheel drive! This scout is not eat up with rust which you would usually find, which makes it a rare find. It is powered by a 196 slant four mated to a unsynchronized three speed manual transmission with a two wheel, four high and four low transfer case. Engine starts up and runs like a champ, the carburetor was recently rebuild by the Holly custom shop in Lexington, Kentucky. Also recently had clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing installed. Has small amount of lift (around two inches) to clear the thirty-three inch tires. Cruises excellent down the highway at fifty-five while turning all kinds of heads. Everything on this scout is manual, transmission, steering and breaks. Included is a full hard top and the highly sought after half cab top, both which are in great condition. Again this scout is not eat up with rust, no holes in the floor board or thru spots, only rust is around where the top bolts to the body. Also included is a new weather striping kit, tons of nick-knack body trim parts, a font axle, rear axle and the original back seat.
