1979 Mazda RX7 GS (5 Speed Transmission and Sun Roof.) I purchased this car new, locally in 1979, which was the first year of production of the RX7. The car has never been driven in the winter, but always placed into storage. This car has the Wankel Rotary engine. 72,697 miles is the CORRECT mileage for this car. The car comes with an AM/FM Radio which works along with all the guages. The car has had the clutch replaced about 6 years ago. Two front tires are brand new along with the battery. Interior is original and in good shape. I have the original air deflector and boot for the sun roof that came with the car. As you can see by the pictures, for a 33 year old car it is in pretty good shape. There are some of the rubber side mouldings missing, and some "road rash," but the car has been pretty well taken care of. If I were going to keep the car, I would take it down to bare metal, have that small portion of rust taken care of by the lower corner of the drivers door and repainted red again. This is a great opportunity to drive and own a low mileage car, that will very likely become a classic!
