Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 2001 LeMans Blue BMW M5. It is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, black interior with the "extended leather" option from BMW, a 6 disc CD changer and BMW factory upgraded sound system which added two 10" subwoofers in the trunk, factory navigation system, upgraded to a EVO3 short throw shifter and upgraded DSSR (Double Shear Selector Rod) from UUC Motorwerks, and upgraded to the PIAA white angel eyes. Last May, I replaced the clutch with a full clutch kit (all new washers, gaskets, seals,) pressure plate, flywheel, rear crank seal, drive shaft flex disc and other various gaskets and seals. I also replaced both headlights with brand new ones from BMW because the originals were getting "foggy." I recently took the M5 to Carmax to get it appraised and they also inspected it and gave me a full report of every aspect of the car. Carmax has three classifications of problem areas when assessing a vehicle, "needs repair," "needs to be replaced," and "needs service." According to the report, there is damage to the passenger side of the front bumper (shown in pictures,) there is a ripple in the hood that causes it not to line up correctly that needs repair (shown in pictures,) there is a dent in the drivers side fender that needs repair, the roof needs to be repainted because the clear coat has worn down (shown in pictures) and there are two spots on the rear bumper that need to be repainted (they're not really noticeable but Carmax is VERY thorough and they make notes of everything.) Also, the report states that the transmission needs to be serviced because it grinds going into third gear and there is a crack in the windshield. Other than that, everything on the car was perfect; engine runs great, no oil leaks, no oil sludge, no exhaust issues, interior is in perfect condition, wheels are in great condition and the tires were replaced about 3 months ago and all electronics are working as intended. Thankfully, all of the issues with this M5 are aesthetic and can be repaired whenever it is convenient. I have a CLEAN/CLEAR Carfax report from when I purchased the car, and I also have the report from Carmax stating that the car has not been in any accidents/flood areas etc. I also have a folder full of receipts and maintenance records from the original purchase of the car in 2001 along with the original window sticker that was on the car when it was sold at BMW. This M5 does have some rough spots which is why I am setting the reserve price very LOW but it is very well documented, maintained and taken care of and with a little work it will be an incredible vehicle for it's next owner. Thank you very much for looking and I am happy to answer any and all questions that you may have. Happy Bidding! EDIT: I am not sure why eBay's "Autocheck" is stating that this vehicle has been in an accident but like stated above, I have a Carfax report and a report from Carmax stating that the vehicle has never been in any wreck of any sort and I am more than happy to share those reports with any interested buyers.
