We call it the Cream-Cycle.. The orange paint reminds one of Sherbet and Vanilla Ice Cream, just in time for the warm weather.. this very cool 1973 VW bus was owned by a loving older couple who just treated it to fresh light body work and original color paint.. not to mention new seats and interior.. it has the full couch and a 3/4 bench seat as well for the back.. along with the expensive shop manuals and $5000 worth of receipts for the restoration. With the 1600 pancake motor this little bus runs strong and fast and keeps up no problem in traffic and easily does 65+ mph no problems .. it really gets out of it's own way. with new front brake calipers and new tires it does everyting right, runs great, shifts smooth, steers easily and brakes very well.. their interior is wonderful, and so is the headliner with just a small hard to noice tear here and there. The owner was a sheet metal worker and you will notice to cool little divider he installed to keep your groceries or soccer ball from rolling from the luggage compartment into the passenger compartment.
