Final year of manufacture for the E38.This car runs superbly! A Dream to Drive. Very powerful.This is the flagship for BMW in 2001. Sold for over $100,000 when new.This the in BIG V12 with 134,000 miles and every option available.Rare color combination Blue Metallic with white leather interior.This V12 750il is mechanically well sorted. Front end likages recently replaced to solve a subtle vibration at high speed ($2000). New tires as well. Drives absolutely smooth now. Service Engine Soon light is on but does not effect drivability of the car (BMW error code P1456). Car is in fair condition - a few dings, spot of rust on the lower passenger door. Drivers seat is discolored from use and needs cleaning, but has no rips. Priced accordinglyIt can be viewed and test driven in Millis or Holliston, MA.On Apr-06-12 at 16:01:41 PDT, seller added the following information: A bidder suggested that the error code is probably due to a bad battery. So, I have purchased a brand new type 95 battery for the car.On Apr-07-12 at 19:59:24 PDT, seller added the following information: This 750il is equipped with two batteries. They both can function to start the car. Apparently the larger battery does most of the work. I had this battery checked and it was faulty. It has been replaced and the Error code has gone away. So, problem solved. No more P1456 error.
