1950 MG TD Runs, drives and stops. All original New brake system (from Moss motors), tires and electronic fuel pumps All tags current. My dad and I bought this 1950 td #2340 five years ago as a decently running car, it had belonged to the old president of the Classic Mg T's of Hawaii club Ted Mattos. We bought it with the intention of using it as a Sunday driver but shortly after buying it my dad found his dream truck (a 29 Model A woody) and his focus shifted to it. I had my mechanic get the TD running and now it sits, I guess that's how it goes sometimes, the Model A needs a new engine so the TD must go Other then that it is the way we bought it, no major rust issues just small blemishes, the paint is getting a little tired. The only major rebuilding done on the car was of the fuel pumps (upgraded to newer electronic fuel pumps) and the brake system (new steel and rubber lines from Moss motors ), we also got a new master brake cylinder (Also from Moss motors). The car shifts fine and nothing is wrong with the drive train or engine, only problem is the choke cable wont stay on (spring issue?). I have a folder of old documents for this car and my documents show it has been a Hawaii car since at least 1975. I also have 3 extra head lights, 4 extra hubcaps and a box of misc. parts that will go with the car.
