toanbell Store One of the most beautiful 67 Mustang coupe I have seen in years. This is a true California car. It turns heads wherever we drive it and opens conversations. The seller said that the vehicle has been stored in storage most of its life and hardly driven. It has been in the same family since it was brand new, never left California, never driven in the rain and snow (besides today that was drizzling a little and I wanted to take some pictures from it) and the mileage is accurate. It was hard for me to believe that a 67 car will have 29K miles, but looking at the overall condition of the car, I would say it that it does make sense and personally, I do believe it. We had been looking at lots of 67 Mustangs for a long time and most of them either had a lot of rust or they built it into a Hot Rod and we did not want that. Me and my wife saw this car and just fell in love with it on the spot and bought it as an investment for us and our kids. Unfortunately, we got hit by some unexpected taxes that we have to pay and sadly, we have to sell this beautiful car. The 289 engine starts right up and is very smooth, runs very powerful, Automatic transmission shifting is very smooth and overall is a very nice and comfortable ride. The wheels and tires are brand new($1,500), Major professional detail job with paint sealer ($450), new floor mats ($50). The car was painted and the paint job looks very nice. Leather on the roof looks amazing. The only minor flaws I can see on this car are some very minor cracks on the top of the dash that I am working on having them repaired for $100, missing center dash small plastic peace ( I believe I have one and I will install it, or else, the whole 3 peace set costs $45 on Ebay) and front windows right side molding (the kit is $120). After all, its 45 year old car. I am trying to be as specific and honest as possible and whatever I am listing is what i know to the best of my knowledge. In my honest opinion, if you go to the dealer and look at a brand new 2013 car, you will find flaws regardless of the brand. This is a 45 year old car and I am sure you can find flaws too. But again, in my personal opinion, the car is in very nice overall condition for its age. there is not a day that goes by and I dont get wows from people, making only positive comments and say how beautiful the car is. I personally love the car and I wish I could keep it forever and hope and pray that whoever that will be the new proud owner of this car will feel the same way. If we are talking about a local car club, street fair or so, I would say that I would proudly take it and show it. Now, if we are talking about a show like SEMA, and you want to place it right in the middle of the grand entry hall, I would say maybe not. You should understand that this car is as original as I think it can be. It is absolutely beautiful and attractive. Its just a very nice car overall worth investing in and using it and enjoying it at the same time. But is it a pro show car? No. But I think with some investment it can easily turn to one if that's what you want. We have to be reasonable. I am not asking for $100K for this car.
