Up for auction is the rarest of all 1942 All Steel Willys Coupe Body The 41-42 all steel Willys Coupes are the cream of the crop in the hot rod world. But finding one is nearly impossible. Very few 1942 Coupes were made and they are very, very scarce!! and rarest of all Coupes. Very low production. This coupe has nothing to hide. Let the pics do the talking. The body is very nice for it's age. Let's remember this is a 70 year old car. The roof is straight, the trunk lid is straight, body lines are straight. Drivers door should be reskinned, passenger door is the nicest original door I have ever seen, with original paint. Needs very little work. Floor shows surface rust but is very solid. This is not a rust bucket full of bondo. No Bondo in this body. One of the nicer original coupe bodies I have seen. This is a project car that was in the makings of being a very high end pro street car. The rear wheel wells have been carefully removed to tub rear of car. Car has not been cut and wheel wells could easily be tacked back into place. Keeping it original.
