A great driver -- a numbers matching car (with Porsche Certificate of Authenticity). Bali Blue with tan vinyl interior. This car is truly a pleasure to drive. Will be a great driver for the buyer. Bare metal restoration was finished in 2006. There is a large documentation file with details and many photos. Engine runs great and looks great – all new powder coating, Cadmium plating, decals, etc. Engine top end overhaul 3,000 miles ago. Good compression. More engine details – distributor rebuilt (Glen Ring), full flow oil filter (Precision Matters), new clutch, flywheel and blower fan dynamically balanced (very smooth!). Blower fan vanes tack welded for secure running. Safety upgrades: LED tail lights, LED 3rd brake light, LED instrument lights. Three point seat belts. Vintage appropriate Blaupunkt Frankfurt (1965 series V) radio with modern electronics inside, incl. iPod input in glove box. 5.5” wheels painted German grey + clear coat. Year correct 4.5" rims can go with the car if buyer wants them. Many other great details - all new vinyl interior, carpet, headliner, restored sun visors, re-silvered mirror, all new exterior trim, etc. The ride is great! Suspension/alignment is spot on (recent shop computer print out).Body is in good shape - rust free floor, longitudinals, doors, body panels, etc. Note: Floor was replaced with 16 gauge sheet metal, not stamped repro. Minor sheet metal fix is needed on bottom side of trunk compartment wall box (behind torsion bar assembly) – easily accessible.
