1972 GTO… EXCELLENT CONDITION (Original owner’s manual and other papers). Very solid body. Engine: 455 ci 250 hp, 8:2 compression, 1971 B series. (Original engine was 400 ci ). Custom paint. Grey (fine metal flake) with off white pin striping. Painted in 1991 and garage kept until recently, but still under carport. Carpet and headliner replaced a few years ago and is in excellent condition. Remainder of interior is original except for steering wheel. 4 speed Munsey M-21 close ratio transmission. Depress clutch safety start. Holley 650 carb. (New carb. kit last month). 4 wheel disc brakes. (Very good condition, little wear). Corvette Ralley wheels. 12 bolt rear end. (Approx. 373 gears). Added under dash air. (System has good pressure, Freon may need to be topped off). Custom Judge fin added. (Not originally available on the ’72). Car is only driven on weekends. Suspension is in very good order, tires are in good condition, it handles well and is geared good for driving around town. There is one small dent on the hood on the driver’s side and a few small nicks here and there (usual wear). The body is in excellent shape, no signs of rust or bubbles. It has good clean exhaust even when starting in cold weather. Does need exhaust system and horn assembly. The ONLY reason I am selling, is to help get my house paid off.
