The bug was painted black in 2009. The interior is brand new (headliner, rearview mirrors, sun visors, seat covers, carpet, seat belts, dashboard, glove box, window handles, door panels, rear speaker shelf. It has a kicker ZX700.5 5 channel amplifier. One CVT 12" speaker in a custom built speaker box behind rear seat. Two 6 x 9 MTX speakers under hood, two 6” MTX speakers under rear speaker shelf and JVC Radio with CD player in glove box. The sound system sounds really good! Car has all new door handles with brand new keys, driver door mirror, VW symbols on front and back, Running boards, turn signals front and back, headlights, tail pipes, front and back bumper T-bars, and chrome trim.I have owned this car for 7 years, and has been stored in the garage with car cover on it. I have done a lot of mechanical work over the past 7 years; I have receipts for Rodgers Euro auto shop in Downey, CA. Gaskets, spark plugs, oil changes, adjustments , torque heads, replace axle boots, over haul carb, repair vacuum leaks, hoses, replace wiring, replace oil switch. New front and rear brakes, Bosch 12V coil, cap and wires, fuel filter, timing, new belts, wiper blades and much, much more too many things to list. I have invested a lot of time and money over the past 7 years; I have receipts for everything purchased. If you have any questions please ask before bidding not after. On Mar-27-12 at 14:59:26 PDT, seller added the following information: This car runs great and has no mechanical problems. I just did an oil change 1 week ago. You could drive it home, you DO NOT need to tow it. The tags are also current 2012. The car is located in my Garage in Downey, CA 90241 this is were you'll be picking up the car from. If for one reason or another you don't want to drive the car home or you don't have a 2nd driver to help you pick up the car. I could tow the car on a flat bed tow truck up to 200 miles for a $100.
