Vehicle Detail
Well, I'm sure no expert on MG's, but an elderly women I know in Wyoming, bought this car new, in Costa Mesa Ca. She has owned it ever since. She has not driven it for the last 2 years or so. I ended up with it, and now I am selling it. This car is what I would call a "barn find." First I will list the minuses, as I see them. It has been in storage for the last 2 years or so, sitting idle. The right rear fender has some rust down low, and there are a few spots hear and there. The top has about a 3" rip in the rear window, and is not perfect. The driver's seat has a tear in it as well. The rear view mirror has a ccack. Now I will list the plusses as I see them...This is basically a one owner car. The tires may be a few years old but look very new. Although it's not perfect, this car, in my opinion, is a very unmolested and low mileage survivor (under 54 k). It was running and driving fine when last driven. She physically could not drive this car any more. It has a couple of rust spots. However, the trunk, frame, and floors all look excellent to me. This car is not a rusty car, like most it's age. It has the owners manual in the glove box still. The car is 40 years old, so I am selling it as-is (not currently running) I would much rather you plan for the worst, and hope for the best, than be dissapointed in any way. I'm sure it may need a new battery, fresh gas, fresh fluids, etc. If I do not sell it as is... my mechanic will get it up and running for me, and I will relist it that way. I have no doubts that someone more mechanical than myself could have this car on the road again in very short order. It's not perfect and is pretty dirty. My opening bid is 2,000 with no reserve. I have a clear and open Wyoming title for it. I honestly can't imagine finding a nicer or lower mileage 40 year old survivor like this MG for the price. I think the buyer will be very pleased with this car but these are just my thoughts. I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when it came my way. Term of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can. If you have zero feedback, contact me before you bid or your bid will be canceled, and you will be blocked from further bidding as well.
