2006 Infiniti M Base with Journey & Technology Package Original MSRP $47,150 + $2,750 (Journey) + $4,200 (Technology) = $54,100 This Infiniti M is in outstanding condition. It is a two owner luxury sedan. The first owner was an elderly gentleman in Palm Beach FL who put only 13,730 miles on the car through March of 2010. I have driven the car for two years and the mileage is now 25,300. It is Ivory Pearl White with a Wheat (beige) interior. It is exceedingly well-equipped with the Journey and Technology packages which are described below. It has been garaged throughout ownership in Palm Beach FL and Keswick VA. I enjoy detailing cars as a hobby and this car has been maintained in a fastidious manner. All cosmetics are very high quality. There are no dents, dings, and all minor paint chips have been filled. When I purchased the car I had the alloy wheels restored to original condition. It is equipped with a DVD player and 6 disc CD changer and the Bose Studio Surround Sound System with 14 speakers, including two in each of the front seat just below the headrests. Six CDs can be loaded in the dash player and the DVD player is in the console storage area. I’ve found the lane-change warning system to be very useful to avoid lane drift I have all maintenance records from new. I have records for seven oil changes and a new battery was installed about 18 months ago. I have the original owners documents and three “smart” keys. I am 65 years old and now purchase a newer car every two years. This Infiniti is everything that the critics say it is: well-designed, luxurious interior, very comfortable, all the gadgets that were available in 2006, impeccable fit & finish and completely reliable. While not required, I had the brake fluid flushed and replaced one year ago. I just spent six hours detailing the Infiniti in anticipation of a completed sale through this auction. I hand-washed the exterior, removed some small bits of road tar, cleaned all the paint, cleaned and conditioned the interior leather and vinyl, cleaned the carpets, cleaned the door jambs, cleaned and armoralled the plastic engine coverings, vacuumed the hood and drunk channels, completely cleaned and conditioned the trunk and all related carpeting and plastic (spare tire has never been used - tool kit has never been opened), cleaned all glass (all original) thoroughly, removed all my "stuff" from the car and am organizing the owners manuals, keys, etc, for the next owner. The interior leather, vinyl, woodwork, and carpeting is all in excellent condition. The alloy wheels, which were restored at a cost of $500 when I purchased the car two years ago are all spotless and clean, as are the tires which have about 7/32nds of an inch of tread remaining - no unusual wear evident. All the rubber seals are clean and pliable and were treated with vinyl protectorant. The door jambs and the hood and trunk channels are basically spotless. Both of the bumpers are in outstanding condition - I noticed one small paint chip on the front bumper which has been touched up. Even the gas cap access door was thoroughly cleaned. I've parked the car in the garage and it will stay there until it is picked up by the next owner. The gas tank is about 3/4 full. The only remaining task is to go over the paint with a detailing "final inspection" spray and to inspect one more time for any small paint chips to touch up. I would be surprised if there is a cleaner 2006 Infiniti M in the country. Remember that this vehicle has just turned 25,000 on the odometer and has been garaged since original purchase down in Palm Beach. The color combination of a metallic white and a beige interior is absolutely gorgeous. The navigation and backup camera system work perfectly. The 14 speaker premium Bose sound system is flawless. If you haven't had a car with backup camera, you will love that innovation - great safety feature! The push-button starting system is really convenient - just carry one of the smart keys in a pocket and unlock the door with a touch of the rubber contact on the driver's door, jump in an press the start button and away you go. The lane-departure warning system is a great safety feature that I leave on always. The intelligent cruise control is a good feature, but I prefer to depend on my own driving skills for safe freeway travel. This is the first car I've owned with air-conditioned seats and I will never be without this feature going forward. All in all, a great value in a luxury sedan that is hardly broken in and will sell for about 40% or less of the original MSRP - think about it, a fully-equipped top of the line luxury sedan that is slightly used at less than 40% of the original MSRP. My car has the lowest mileage of any advertised on those sites. The "cluster" of average Ms for sale have 50k to 60k miles and are advertised for $19k to $23k (some much higher, especially the "certified" cars through Infiniti). This car will likely sell in the midpoint of that range, but with the lowest mileage anywhere and in top condition. I just went over the paint one more time and touched up a few specks. There are no dings or dents .. the paint and bright work is all in exceptional condition .. the alloy wheels are spotless. I've purchased a new car which is being delivered late next week from Ohio so this superb Infiniti needs a new home to create garage space for the new boy.
