It is just time for me to get something new… This Road Runner drives great and is in great condition. The car is an original, matching numbers car that has had a pervious restoration / paint job. The restoration was done very well, but it is an older restoration; “good 15 Footer.” The car has power steering that was added by the previous owner which makes it much more of a driver. This Road Runner drives great and catches a lot of eyes. It has never been abused since I have owned it; no drag racing, no bad weather, just a nice summer day driver. I have saved some of the original equipment that was on the car and some replacement parts that are included in the sale. I have bought some of the items and some I have had from when I bought the vehicle. I have the original steering box (non-power), original carb (slightly warped), original pulleys, original valve covers, new dash pad, Plate Bracket from the original dealer in California, new door handles, new transmission pan gasket, and extra rear window weather stripping. Now for the bad… The car does have a couple of issues. The driver’s side door handle does not work from the outside, but works fine from the inside (see pictures). This is why I have new door handles that come with the car. There are a couple of small tears in the vinyl seats and some paint blemishes that have not gotten worse since purchasing the vehicle some 10 years ago (see pictures). The transmission leaks just around the pan seal, but not bad. I just haven’t gotten around to replacing it. There is also a small oil leak from the lower part of the front seal. I assure you these are not major leaks and the car is driven regularly and is a great driver. Terms of the Sale: Pick-up or shipping of the car is the reasonability of the buyer. If picking up or if using a third party car hauler the buyer will need to arrange with the seller to pick the vehicle up and sign for it or have the hauler sign for it. A $2,000.00 non-refundable deposit is due via paypal within 48 hours of the auction end. The buyer will also need to email a copy of their driver’s license to the seller after the deposit is sent. Final payment will only be accepted via a bank wire-to-wire transfer (swift account). No checks, cashiers check, cash, etc. There are a lot of scammers out there. The wire-to-wire protects me the seller and you the buyer. The title will be sent once final payment is received / confirmed and sent via UPS if picked up by a hauler or given in person if the buyer is picking up the vehicle. All federal, state, and local taxes are the reasonability of the buyer. The car is priced below the recommendations from NADA.com. Please do not ask me what the reserve is. Bid what you think the car is worth. I have done my best to accurately describe the car and will not be held liable for any issue with the vehicle. It is sold as is with no warranty. The vehicle is for sale locally and the seller has the right to end the auction early at any point.
