You are bidding on a 1959 Ford Edsel Ranger 4-Dr Sedan. The Edsel is equipped with the FE series V8 and automatic transmission and starts and runs excellent. All of the gauges and lights work, as well as the factory AM radio. The body is very straight and solid with all of the body panels lining up nice. The car had a repaint a number of years ago and still holds a nice shine but shows its wear here and there upon close examination. There are a few tiny bubbles starting to come through and some paint-wear that are not noticeable until up close so I'd say the car is a 5 to 10 footer. The interior overall is in very good shape, with the door panels, dash, headliner and seats showing minimal wear, and all of the factory-tinted glass is in excellent shape. The chrome and side-trim and all in good driver-quality shape, but would need to be re-chromed for show quality. The original trunk mat is also intact in good shape, and the bumper jack and spare are also included. The Edsel has only been used the past couple of summers a few times to go to car shows and cruise-ins. I've decided to sell it this year as I've acquired a vintage Lincoln and don't have room for the two. But, overall, this car turns a lot of heads and and get a lot of attention wherever it goes. It is not a show car, but a nice driver-quality vehicle in the condition it's in being it's 50-plus years old.
