This 1969 Mustang Mach 1 was ordered with the following options: 428 Cobra Jet (non-ram air) "Q" code with a Close Ratio 4-Speed, 3.50 rear axle ratio, Royal Maroon paint w/ blackout hood treatment, White Mach 1 deluxe interior, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tinted Glass, Deluxe Belts/Warning Light. This is a pretty rare color combination, then add the 428 CJ and 4-speed to the mix and that makes this car very rare indeed. The 428 CJ is fresh with no expense spared and ready to be installed (to view video, click the link at bottom of this discription). The correct Big-spline Top-Loader 4-speed has been completely rebuilt by David Kee Toploader transmission Inc. The original shifter is all there (linkage and all), and comes with a new nos correct chrome handle and shifter knob. The correct bellhousing and fresh original 428 cj Flywheel are all there as well. The motor comes with a new set of Hooker super comp headers and a used ready to rebuild C9AF-9510-U 735 cfm 428 cj center Carb. The original rear-end is still in the car with the correct staggered rear shocks. A new NOS 1969 gas tank has been installed, and the front and rear brakes have been rebuilt. The body on this car is very straight. The engine bay sheet metal is untouched and original (view the vin # rubbing under the fender in the pics). All the body lines are tight and doors still open and shut like new. There is some rust in a couple places but no body panels need to be replaced (Patches Only). There is NO rust in the rear Quarter panels or in any frame rail. The doors have 2 small places in the lower corners of the exterior side only. The driver side front fender needs a small patch in the lower corner near the rocker. The passenger & driver side front floor will need a patch. The torque boxes are solid with no rust. The taillight panel and trunk opening have 2 very small spots of rust (look at pics). This car was driven daily before the motor was pulled everything works as it should including: all lights interior and exterior, turn signals, gauges, radio, etc. Somewhere in this cars life someone started to change the interior to black, but again everything is there. In the pics you will see a automatic shift handle through the 4-speed console, (i ran the car with a auto for a while). This is a whole lot of car for the money. If your plans would be to restore the car, everything is there for you to see how to re-assemble. If you are looking for a 428 cj 4-speed car to drive and restore later, the drive train is new and ready to be installed. This car is for sale as-is where-is.
