This is a 1983 Subaru GL. The title lists it as a model G4D. The car starts and runs fine. The engine started very easily after sitting in my barn all winter. It has A/C, but I do not know if it works. The body is almost rust free along with a very solid undercarraige which is very rare for an old Subaru. It has a manual transmission with four wheel drive. It will need a clutch soon. It drives ok and does not slip, but the pedal comes off the floor a ways before engaging. I do not know how to adjust it and have not tried. The tires, exhaust and everything seem to be in good working order. The front light headlight bezel is broken, and it is missing the front right marker light. I have found both items on a junkyard search for $35. I am not interested the time into repairing it myself. The car has been repainted years ago. It still looks very good. I bought the car for the transmission which I was going to put into a kit car. I need one without the 4 wheel drive, so this car did not work for me. I am selling this "as is". That means no warranty. I am also selling it as miles unknown because I simply can not verify mileage in a car of this age. I am an Ohio car dealer so I must collect sales tax if it applies to you.
