Vehicle Detail

1987 930 RARE NON SUNROOF MARINE BLUE This 930 is one of the rarest I have ever seen. Marine Blue/f7 with a Chamgagne/ blue interior. A STUNNING COMBO. Porsche COA included. 91k original miles. Very original Factory intercooler and turbo. Motor is extremely strong. No signs of a rebuild. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country. Fabspeed stainless heat exchangers and muffler. No catalytic converter. 7" and ultra rare 9" by 16" Fuchs with polished spokes. Brand new Kuhmo tires. Snorkel in front bumper to force air through the oil cooler. New $700 windshield. Just installed 2 brand new fuel pumps at a cost of over $1,000. Zuffenhaus custom ST steering wheel and hub assembly. Upgraded 22/30 Torsion bars. Bilstein sport shocks. NHS boost gauge. 3rd light and rear wiper were deleted by Previous owner. He also put the smaller Euro bumperettes on the car, Euro tail lights and a black P O R S C H E center reflector. Rare Sport seats. THE BLACK RECARO DOES NOT COME WITH THE CAR. The original sport seat will be reinstalled at time of shipment. This 930 is totally straight and collision free. One of the straightest I have ever seen. The non sunroof 930's are EXTREMELY rare. I was told that all the 930's were made with sunroof's. When a car was specifically ordered without a sunroof, they went to Porsche Motorsports and grabbed a racing tub to build the special order car. Previously owned by the head of one of the finest Porsche fabrication shops in the country. His cars are on the cover of every Porsche magazine known. This was his personal car. I saw it at a 930 event and bugged him for 2 years to sell it to me. This is a "one of one" 930. The Bad: The paint is fair with quite a few nicks and dings. Not bad for a 25 year old car. I just washed the car and then pollen got all over it in about 5 minutes. I would say that it is a 7 out of 10. There are cracks on the dash and the seat bolsters are showing wear. The car needs a 2nd gear synchronizer. It has never bothered me because I never slam it into second gear. If you shift easy it is smooth. The rubber portion of the wing needs repair as it is pulling apart. The A/C fan in the dash needs to be replaced as it makes a whinning noise. Wheels need to be repolished and painted. None of these issues were a concern for me. I am a 25 year PCA member who has owned many 930's. I currently have 5 Porsches and am building a 1994 3.6 liter turbo that will be completed soon. That is why I am selling this one. This is a rare opportunity to own a unique 930. I am sure I will regret selling it later on. I have set a VERY reasonable reserve. Please don't ask what it is. A $2,000 deposit is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. All funds due within 7 days. Worldwide customers welcome. I can assist with setting up the shipping. All shipping costs are those of the buyer. No warranty is expressed of implied. Title in hand. Car is tagged in NC where I have a vacation home, only 2 hours north of Atlanta. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions about this fantastic 930. My emial is tateaskew@yahoo.com and my phone number is 404-697-4989 Good luck. Tate
