1952 Buick Super Estate Wagon - Woody This is an Original car that is in very nice shape and can be enjoyed day one. DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF COMPLETING THE AUCTION Here is an original woody woodie 1952 Buick Super 4 door 6 passenger Estate wagon series 50 model 59. The car has 121.5 inch wheelbase,The car is finished Venetian blue with a blue interior. The car has the automatic dynaflow transmission and power steering. 1952 was the first year for power steering on Buick's and this beauty has it, which makes it very easy to maneuver. This car has a straight eight fireball with 128 HP with a 7.2 to 1 compression ratio; 1952 was the last year for the straight 8 just before the debut of the V8 for Buick's 50th anniversary. - the engine sounds great and runs well. The car has 5 new radial tires with a thin whitewall, which allows for a nicer ride. The car has coil springs. The car has a new battery, the car has a 6 volt electrical system, all the lights work on the car. The interior is in very good shape for it's age the vinyl seating area has no rips or tears. The rear seat folds down making a flat deck that is six feet long by 4 feet wide , drop the tailgate and add an extra 3 feet. The car has tinted easy eye glass , the passenger rear door glass is broken. Other options the car has radio with antenna, bumper guards, wheel covers, easy eye glass, power steering, automatic transmission. This is a great original car that can be enjoyed the way it is or brought up in condition while enjoying the car along the way. The car looks fantastic from a few feet a way, up close the car shows some blemishes such as some paint chips, some pot metal pitting. The front floor have some rust, the wood on the car appears to be mostly original with the exception of one small section of the rear that has been replaced. The wood is solid except for one dry rotted spot in the rear near the replaced wood. I have some extra parts that go with the car, such as rear quarter spear that are very nice, plus some bumper chrome. There is also a terrific collection of memorabilia / paperwork that goes along with the car which is great for winter reading and display at car shows.
