Vehicle Detail
really nice origional 1974 st90 honda automatic, bought from a collection, super nice, new battery, carb rebuilt, engine tuned up,and clutch adjusted.this bike is all origional and has never been repainted or engine never been into and runs really well and shifts nicely,no smoke or leaks, origional exhauet is in nice shape, comes with origional tool kit in holder mounted on bike.. plenty of chrome, wheels are nice with lots of chrome ,all chrome on bike is in great shape for a 38 year old motorcycle.i cleaned it up some and test cleaned the spokes and they will clean up but im to lazy to do it. last registered in 1974 and is street legal, mileage reads 025840.either the speedometer or odometer is not working but all cables are there,i will go ride it tomorrow and repost the findings. this motorcycle will sell to the highest bidder. there is a few small tears on lower side of seat about an inch long,i will silicone the tear ant touch it up with black paint and it will not be that noticable. and the fuel tank inside is real clean as the previous owner had bike for 30 years without fuel in it. i also had fuel iines replaced as they were dry, the points are a little pitted, the mechanic cleaned them off and runs a little crisper but would probably replace. all together this is a real clean old origional bike and all lights horn turn signals brake lights work fine, it would be pretty hard to find one in this shape.the reason for selling is i am restoring an old 68 charger and parts are high. thanks and good luckOn Mar-21-12 at 05:36:00 PDT, seller added the following information: the last digit in the mileage wat the tenths, the mileage is 2,584 miles not 25,840. the motor has plenty of compression, carb was gone through,it has a mind of its own. rode it today and it started on first kick and went to idle, performed well, then later it took 10 kicks and acted like it was starving for fuel. i called the honda guy who worked on carb and he said there was one jet in carb that was plugged up and he got it opened with a tip cleaner and needs the jet to be replaced or soaked in bearmans for awhile, either that or replace carb to get bike running perfect,i have seen new carbs for 50 bucks on ebay. just wanting all bidders to be informed. i personally would ride as is,the carb thing is not a big deal to me but might be for someone else, thanksOn Mar-21-12 at 16:45:26 PDT, seller added the following information: rode it today and ran pretty good, the odometer and speedometer is not working. all cables are there, probably a minor issue. speedometer lights up when lights are on.
