Note to Bidders: Feedback less than 5? You must contact me before bidding to review my terms and conditions or I will immediately connect you via email to the last scammer that tried to get me to send a car with bundled shipping to Sri Lanka. Just kidding, I do need to review my terms and conditions with you. Note to Scammers: Tell you what. I’ll do a bundled shipping deal with you if you can explain to me something: If your late father was the president of Nigeria, why would you want to buy a used car from me? $250 deposit via Paypal, balance in cash or settled funds at or prior to delivery. About the Seller I am a mechanical engineer with 40 yrs experience in the vehicle industry aftermarket. I list cars for friends and family taking full responsibility for my descriptions. I enjoy a stellar reputation by making sure there are no surprises at delivery. I am not a dealer so there are no hidden fees, scotch-guard or paint-protection up-charges, but also no suspenseful consultations with “the sales manager” (that’s me)! I tell you about the truck, you buy it, I give you the truck and title. Way too simple but that’s how I do it. Of course, we all know by now that any used vehicle including this one may or may not do what you or I or anybody expect it to do and is sold as-is where-is with no warrantees expressed or implied. I welcome independent inspections at bidders expense or ask away and I’ll get back to you promptly. This is my personal ride here, the ‘flagship of the fleet’ as it were. Most of the damage was inflicted by my older son “crash” wilson. we have some land up the street and he felt the need to find as many trees as he could with my truck. 155k trouble-free miles on this jewel. I know you’re thinking--”he had the trouble-free miles now I get to have all the trouble”. Even though this truck stops short of meeting the ‘thing of beauty’ test, it has been well maintained and is very reliable. I use it to pick up and deliver motorcycles all over the mid west and it’s never let me down yet. I have a motorcycle restoration business and work out of a 2-bay shop where the truck has gotten regular servicing--oil and fluid changes, tires brakes, etc. The only major mechanical work required was last summer when it got: -new front hubs and vacuum seals (for the 4 wheel drive) -front brakes including rotors, pads and calipers -new battery -new alternator -new serp belt -tires have 70% remaining useful life Other good news is the windshield was replaced so it’s clean and ding-free. The interior is clean, never smoked in, a/c blows cold (I needed it this week)!, it has a decent sound system although the CD player rejects some CD’s and accepts others. Manual seats, sliding rear window, factory slide out bed liner. Truck starts right up in any weather, leaks nothing, goes down the highway fine at 75 all day, not smoking or using oil (I use synthetic in all my vehicles), no heating or cooling issues, everything fine there. Cruise control, power windows, door locks and lights working normally. On the less positive side... The two rear half-doors don’t open any more, I haven’t investigated, maybe a cable problem. The check engine light has been on the whole 5 yrs I’ve had it--code comes up egr or oxygen sensor but it has passed OH e-check every year Did i mention that this baby is no looker? Not exactly country-club rated. You’ll make my neighbors happy and probably piss your’s off if you buy this truck, but it does show that when it comes to trucks, ‘Ford know what up’. I guess I gave you the full ‘ugly alert’ disclosure but then you have the pictures to confirm any suspicions. I don’t have a buy-it-now price so don’t bother asking. I’ll let you guys decide what its worth. no reserve, high bid wins--even if it’s only the 99 cent opening bid. Would be a great work truck where the guys don't care what it looks like just so it gets the job done.
