Vehicle Detail

2003 FORD EXPLORER XLT 191,320 Miles. This is being Sold AS-IS, NO WARRANTY. I will do my best here to describe everything I know about the vehicle. Overall it runs very good considering the mileage. Looks Great. I used this for business for 3 years, so most of the mileage is "Highway". I averaged around 40k miles a year for the 3 years. Oil Changed every 3-4k miles. I've used 100% Synthetic oil since crossing 100k miles, primarily Amsoil. REBUILT Transmission at 161,000 miles- cost me 3200.00. No issues since. Only other thing I have not figured out, there is a clunk noise that occasionally happens when coming to a stop- sounds like it's coming from rear end. My wife thinks its something that was sliding around in back. I had 3 shops look at it, including Brooksville Transmission, and they couldn't determine anything wrong. I also had one of the shops service the rear end, and they noticed nothing out of ordinary. 6 Disc CD Changer, It is "wired" for XM Radio, I can throw in the XM receiver, but I suspect it may be out of date. This Vehicle has Clear Title, I have title, I own the vehicle with no liens etc. CONDITION: EXTERIOR: Paint is in great shape, I've waxed at least once per year since purchase. No dents, one small ding barely visible on driver side front fender. Some fading on black trim around doors.Crack: in back tailgate/rear hatch portion. ON this- it must be something/defect with this year, as I've literally seen many many other Explorer's with exact same crack. Front Bumper: has paint chipping off- which is primarily from Florida Bugs. For those that are FL residents- "Love Bugs" specifically. Front Windshield: has some minor swirl marks/scratch marks that are only visible in certain sunny conditions- this is from cleaning bugs off with scrub sponge. This can easily be repaired or buffed out. Again, it's barely noticeable and only if sun hits windshield certain way. TIRES: Good Shape- Medium wear. Note these are larger than "Stock" tires- look much better than smaller stock tires that came on vehicle. INTERIOR: Charcoal/BlackCloth Seats in Good Shape, no rips or tears. Carpet in Good shape for age, some stains from spills but could probably be easily cleaned. Power Windows: All work- Except- Right Passenger side rear window. This "went out" at about 30k miles. I believe it may need power window motor- not sure. A/C: Blows Cold- Only issue is that it doesn't blow out real hard. I think there are some "dampers" that are not properly shutting. I've had no issue with this driving in FL heat. On Mar-23-12 at 18:33:05 PDT, seller added the following information: TITLE: I HAVE APPARENTLY MIS-PLACED. MONDAY MARCH 26TH I WILL BE GOING TO LOCAL DMV TO REQUEST A "QUICK TITLE". I WILL HAPPILY PROVIDE WINNING BIDDER WITH A COPY OF THIS PAPERWORK. I'M NOT CERTAIN OF TIMELINE- BUT I BELIEVE IF MY COUNTY DOES DO THIS "QUICK TITLE" THAT I CAN GET IT SAME DAY. MY APOLOGIES I SHOULD HAVE LOOKED FOR THIS BEFORE LISTING, I WAS CERTAIN I HAD IT, BUT I GUESS THINGS JUST GET MIS-PLACED. SO LONG STORY SHORT I WILL HAVE THE TITLE IN MY POSSESSION READY TO TRANSFER NO LATER THAN 7 DAYS AFTER AUCTION CLOSE OR I WILL GIVE WINNING BIDDER OPTION OF CANCELLING SALE/AND REFUND DEPOSIT BACK.
