I am selling a NR MT 1988 Toyota 4runner 4WD 5spd. The truck is in spectacular shape for being 24 yrs old. There is very little that it would need to make the truck mint. I have posted as many pictures as possible and can provide more if necessary. The truck was bought in California and was brought over to the east coast some time ago. There is NO rust anywhere. The top comes off to make this a convertible but I honestly think it has never been removed or so it seems. I have take pictures of all the little imperfections but they are minimal. To me this truck is in immaculate shape and everything works as it should. And that being said, I have very high standards. Timing belt was done at 70k along with water pump, spark plugs, wires, front cover seals and belts. Tires and rims are new and shock absorbers were replaced at the same tim. AC blows cold with R12 freon which has yet to be converted. All gauges work, all switches work, power windows, power door locks, antenna, everything and all of it is original. There are no dents, no cracks, no body work of any kind and any time. There may be 2 or 3 nicks that can be removed but I prefer to leave them so you know the vehicle is all original. Truly this is a time machine. It has been garage kept and driven very little and mileage reflects that. With a good detailing this truck will shine more than it already does. If it meets reserve a full detail will be provided to the purchaser of the truck. The owner regretfully needs to sell this truck and would like it to find a new home for it. Unfortunately it needs to be sold and I can't afford to buy it from him. 3.0 V6 has a R150 5 spd trans which is bullet proof. Clutch is smooth and all gears engage perfectly. It is 4WD and front locking hubs. The truck has an aftermarket skidplate and running boards which are chrome plated and the chrome is pitting.(both installed at dealer when purchased) I prefer not to remove anything from the truck as this was the way it was purchased when NEW. I am representing the truck exactly as is with no deceptions of any kind The truck is also listed locally and is being advertised elsewhere. I have the right to end this auction early as well. A $500.00 deposit is due at the end of auction and the remainder will be paid in cash or with a cashier's check. Please bid with confidence. Offers are also being considered. Please have all your finances in order if you bid on the truck. What it could use is a console lid cover and a shifter boot to make interior perfect. Floor mats could use replacing as well.
