Although Suzuki is a small-time player in the United States, it's among the automotive giants in Japan -- and the SX4 hatchback is an attractively styled four-door hatchback with solid performance and ample features. If you are in need of a low-cost AWD vehicle, the Suzuki SX4 makes a lot of sense. The Suzuki SX4 is built on Suzuki's global B-segment platform (also used for the Swift hatchback outside the U.S.) and naturally competes with the Chevrolet Aveo, Honda Fit, Hyundai Accent/Kia Rio, Nissan Versa, Scion xD and Toyota Yaris. On the other, they're longer, wider and taller than most of these cars and arguably more in line with less expensive compact entries like the Chevrolet Cobalt, Dodge Caliber, Hyundai Elantra and Kia Spectra. This is the Touring Edition which includes alloy wheels, full power accessories, lowered suspension for firmer tuning, cruise control and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, automatic climate control, an upgraded nine-speaker audio system with an in-dash CD changer, heated outside mirrors and the SmartPass keyless entry and engine-start system. Power comes from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 143 hp and 136 pound-feet of torque offering a satisfyingly snappy gearchange. It's connected to a standard five-speed manual transmission and safety features such as antilock disc brakes, front-seat side airbags and head-protecting side curtain airbags for all outboard passengers. Traction and stability control are standard as well. It has 26,001 actual miles and no evidence of off road use (no mudd or dirt in or around engine or wheels and base,) and the INTERIOR is like new…no wear on any fabric, dash, console, etc. The EXTERIOR is equally clean and we could only find the scratch on rear bumber, right rear panel and driver’s interior door. We tried to capture these small defects with pictures. -We do our best to disclose all information in our ads. At Close of Auction
The successful "winning" bidder must telephone us within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase, pay deposit, and make arrangements to complete the transaction.
A $1,000 deposit must be made within 24 hours of the purchase through paypal. Full payment must be received within 5 business days of the end of auction. Payment must be either by cashiers-check, or certified funds. If funds are not received, and an alternate arrangement has not been made, the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come, first-serve basis and the deposit may be non-refundable.
