Up for auction is a beautiful EL CAMINO that has spent it's entire life in California. The car was originaly purchased in central calif. It still has the original dealers license plate frame on the front plate.There are only two rust spots about the size of a quarter (easy fix) on the driver and passenger floor boards.The rest of the car where you would expect to find the usual rust only show light surface rust.All the glass is good and the windows operate as they should.This car is very solid.The rockers and the quarters are solid.The doors open and close without droping or sagging.All the chrome is there except for one original hub cap and some letters on the tailgate.The front bumper is in great shape,but the back bumper has a small dent.I really hate to sell the car but ive got some unexpected financial issues I need to take care of. In the pictures you will notice a motor and trans. in the bed.I was going to do a SS 396 Clone.The motor and trans is out of a 1970 SS 396 Elko.The motor and trans have both been completly rebuilt.I just put new upper control arm bushings,rebuilt carb. ,new fuel pump on this car.The 327 starts rite up with no smoke or engine noises and the trans shifts as it should.Notice in the pictures ,all the smog hardware is still on the motor and working.The A/C compresser is still in place(looks like it needs clutches).
