Original unmolested 1949 chevrolet 3100 pickup. Belonged to one family since 1952. I have the paperwork showing the purhase in 1952 and then it was sold to a nephew in 1959 and remained with him until his death in 1979. At that time it was inherited by his wife and remained in the family until I purchased it. It has not been titled since 1979 and has the antique tags still on it. The truck is solid. The only reapir panel needed is the passenger side floor board and the front fenders are dented. The truck is a barn find and has been setting for a very long time and will need a complete restoration., It still has the fabric wire loom harness. The only mod to the truck is that it now has 1953 doors with vent windows and push button handles. In addition to this truck there is a complete rolling chassis with a later model 235 inline six that was running and driving when parked ten years ago. The engine spins freely and the brakes were replaced prior to being parked. This chassis should require a limited amount of effort to get back to running driving condition. It is a 1949 as well and be a quick way to get a driveable truck quickly. My father purchased these two trucks when I was 12 and I drove one in high school with intention of building the other. Here it is many years later and we are finally building the street rod so we are selling off all the remaing components to fund the project. This would make a great restoration project or a rat rod.
