1982 HONDA XL250R IN VERY GOOD CONDITION! Up for auction is my '82 XL250 with a clean Illinois title. These old Hondas run forever with proper care and maintenance. I have owned this bike for 8 years now, always starts and runs good. This bike was used by many young riders to learn the basics of motorcycle operation, and can be used to teach many more. The mirrors are not on the bike, and with knobbies on it is set up for off-road use. Newer Pirelli knobbies. Valves set. Carb cleaned and set. Inside of fuel tank is clean, no rust at all. Trans shifts great, all 6 gears engage easily, no false neutrals. Suspension is tight, rides great! THE BAD: Tank has 2 dents on right side (see pictures). Tank has scratches on left side (also pictured). Neutral light doesn't work, needs neutral switch. Mirrors are not on bike but I will include them, along with some spare parts and a shop manual. No turn signals, they didn't come with bike when I got it.
