1981 Camaro z28 With a GM VORTEC CRATE ENGINE !!!! Ok so I have owned this car for a couple years and put over $7000 into restoring it here is the list of what I have done so far . GM VORTEC CRATE ENGINE WITH COMPLETE DRESS UP KIT 370HP !!!!!! COST $5500 2 years ago EDELBROCK CARB 600 CFM $375 MSD CAP AND ROTOR WITH ACCELWIRES $175 FLOWPRO HEADERS $260 FLOW MASTER 3 INCH EXHAUST $380 ithink CANT REMEMBER THE EXACT PRICE BRAKE PADS CALIPERS WHEEL BEARINGS ALL AROUND CAR NEW REAR SHOCKS NEW TIRES $550 STILL HAVE NUBS ON THEM COOPER COBRAS NEW REAREND AND AXLES OVER 1000 NEW WINDOW TRIM ( NEED TO INSTALLTHEY WILL COME WITH THE CAR ) NEW SHIFT CABLE PLUS A SPARE TRANNY HAS SHIFT KIT INSTALLED PAID OVER 500 PAINT JOB ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO SHINES LIKE A DIMOND BLACK OUT TAIL LIGHTS NEW TURN SIGNALS AND SIDE MARKERS NEW ORIGINAL INSIDE ROCKER TRIMS NEW LOWER DASH NEW SEAT COVERS NEW HEADLIGHTS tHE LIST GOES ON BUT THOSE ARE SOME OF THE MAJOR THINGS . Now here is the cons about the car The floor pan has some rotten places under the carpet the backseat pan is in really bad shape and needs replaced . The subframe under the righthand back wheel has started to seperate from the floor pan on one side it needs repaired badly . All this stuff of course could be fixed but I am a mechanic not a body guy so I really dont have time or tools for this kinda issue witch is why im cutting my losses and letting my baby go . The car still drives and runs fast as all hell when you stomp it you couldnt ask for a more clean running bad ass powertrain and engine it is ferocious !!!! Now as far as the body goes it has some small dings and scratches but is really NICE LOOKING ! the rocker under the door panal has been removed for repair and that is when I discoverd the sub frame floor pan issue . but you can barlley see that its been removed a pic has been included . the interior needs some new stuff but I have done quite a bit it isnt awful but it does need new door panals and carpet the dash has a few cracks but is in really good shape . The speedometer does not work as the headers torched the cable easy fix . Basiclly its a great car that just needs to move on to the next gear head lol . It will make a great restoration project or if you have a chasis this is what you need the body is all there the engine and tranny is perfect and meannnnnnnnn . starts right up and sounds just monsterous no smoke no leaks just muscle . NOW FOR THE AUCTION I JUST HAD A REALLY BAD EXPIRENCE WITH A DEADBEAT EBAYER WHO WON THIS A WEEK AGO HE NEVER FOLLOWED UP AFTER THE AUCTION NO DEPOSIT NO CALL NO NOTHING . SO WITH THAT BEING SAID YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOME FEEDBACK OR I WILL CANCEL YOUR BID . I WILL ALWAYS MAKE EXCEPTIONS BUT EMAIL ME IF YOU DONT HAVE FEEDBACK AND I WILL CONSIDER THE SITUATION .
