Vehicle Detail

1992 Mustang GT 5.0, 5-Speed, Supercharged, only 66k Original Miles I have owned this Mustang for 10 years now after the original owner sold it to a Ford Dealership employee so he could purchase a truck back around 2002. The employee only had the car for about 6 months before selling it to me so technically I am the third owner but I consider myself the second. I bought the car 100% stock with even the original tires and plugs in the car; it had 24k miles on it. Since owning the car I have taken excellent care of it and the car has always been garage/storage unit kept and driven only during the summer months. It has never seen snow/salt and has been in the rain only a handful of times. I have all the original manuals for the car and even the original car seat adapter from Ford that came with the car new. Interior The interior is stock and in ‘like new condition’ but I have changed out the stock speakers for newer Pioneers, placed a 10 disc CD changer in the rear hatch and also put a short-throw 5 speed shifter in the console. The seats in the car have always had seat covers on them in the front and I keep a bed sheet over the rear seat so that when I drive with the windows cracked the dust doesn't get into the seats. The backseat itself has only been sat in a few dozen times. Exterior The outside is also in great shape and the paint looks just like the day it rolled off the lot. There are no dents/dings/scratches on the body of the car except for the front bumper. A few years ago I had another car back into it, which broke the headlight, and spider webbed the paint on the corner of the bumper. I replaced the headlight but didn’t feel the bumper was bad enough for repair. It isn’t noticeable unless you lean in and look at the paint cracks. I included a close up in the pics so you can see what I am talking about (its the passenger side front). Since then I have been placing a factory Ford mustang bra on the front of it. The Factory bras themselves went out of production in the mid 90s and are rare in themselves to find. Also, the rubber trim around the doors/windows is dried but this is very common on those cars and easily replaceable. Rims and Tires The cars sits on brand new tires (just purchased 3 months ago) which are mounted on hard to buy 17” Pony-R rims. They look identical to stock rims but are wider and taller. A stock rim is 16x7 all around and these are 17x9 in the back and 17x8 in the front. I was on a wait list for 11 months and paid a pretty penny to get these rims. It gives it a meaner look but still appears stock to those who aren’t familiar with them. Drivetrain The drivetrain in this car is in perfect running order and has had some very tasteful modifications done to it. The rear end was just rebuilt last year to include 3.55 gears, full time posi Eaton locker, 33-spline axles, and C-clip eliminators. The transmission is stock except for a Ford Racing clutch that was installed at the dealership about 5k miles ago. Having a stock 5-speed transmission is a true showing of how this car was never abused. The engine is where most of my money went into the car. It has the original 302 longblock but is fed by 24lb fuel injectors, 70mm throttle body, ported and polished (to the max) stock intake, and a 6lb Vortech Supercharger. I wanted to maintain a mostly stock look which is why I ported/polished the stock intake and I also had the throttle body machined so that the BBK stampings are gone and it looks stock. I also replaced the radiator, water pump, alternator, fan mount, and belts last year. The water pump seal went out from sitting when the car was in storage so I had a few things replaced along with it. Exhaust The exhaust is Mac exhaust and are 2 inch headers going into 3 inch dual exhaust. The exhaust dumps off just before the rear end. It sounds deep and gets compliments everywhere I take it. A couple other things I would like to mention is that the A/C does need to be charged on the car and also where the dipstick tube attaches to the exhaust tube (to hold it on) at the top of the stick is not connected. It just needs one of the header bolts backed out a little so that it can be put back on. It is still fine to drive but you have to hold the tube when you pull the dipstick out. Also, in the pictures the fog lights are out but I do have them inside the car. I know every detail about this car as it has been my baby for 10 years. If you have any additional questions or would like additional pictures, please let me know.
